It's funny how, while going forward, we are actually going backwards. Some remarks I made earlier how sails are coming back to ships, water and wind energy is experiencing a renaissance, chemical fertilizers and pesticides are losing popularity, and all in all the whole 20th century is beginning to look like a short bad dream in human history.

The Nature 2.0 entry also listed "new" technical solutions that the ever so clever human is developing on mimicking nature. Robot Fish is the latest addition to this theme. The fish can be seen in a London Acquarium until 2011, when it is released into ocean to detect pollution.
