Savage is sold
This is the last entry in 'Bikes'n'stuff' category for a while, since I've sold my bike. I came to the conclusion that a person riding her motorbike on average 3 times per summer, is not someone you can call a biker. Hubby still has his Harley, so I will have an excuse to wear some black leather every now and then.
It took me several years to find the forest green Suzuki Savage. I almost got one when I left Suzuki to work for Nokia, but I didn't have enough money at the time. Then they disappeared from the catalogs. Without knowing this was my dream bike, a family member bought one, and after some heavy arm-twisting I managed to buy it for myself. I guess I should be mourning, but I feel nothing for that bike any more. I've grown up.
Well, maybe. The money went into a Citroen "Big Cat", which I mentioned in this blog earlier. She's going to be a heck of a project, not just doing all the repairs, but reaching an agreement with the family on color (it's gotta be black!).
