After criticizing the Pirate Party, I think it's only fair that I present a good alternative. Enter Spotify. They just received a new dose of investment from Hong Kong, and are now heading into the big game. FT writes that "Investors hope Spotify will attract more paying users if Apple allows the service to be used on iPhones."

But why start by picking up a fight against Apple on iTunes, when you can easily build a mobile Spotify service with Symbian, which has far bigger global user base, and none of the technical and legal restrictions that Apple presents.

If we can trust the bloggers, they are doing both. In fact, they did hire Symbian coders earlier this year, so hopefully we'll see the results soon.
