Hitlantis, the "Indie Spotify"
Hitlantis is a service for indie bands to distribute their music. They are on public beta (well, what else these days?), with a target to get 250 000 bands and 2,5 million users by end of this year.
They have been called the "indie spotify", and that must be true, I didn't recognize any of the bands currently part of the service. Although the service is only 4 months old, one band has already made a record deal: The Embassy of Silence inked a deal with Bonnier Amigo Music group.
I'm a sucker for usable UI's, and their's is one. Try it out, very nice. Songs cost 0,20 eurocents, and are mp3. Bands get 90% of the revenue.
